Second Sunday of retirement.

Attended mass at St. Stephen  the Martyr Parish this morning. I left home at 10:30 and reached the parking lot about 7 minutes later.
Father John Madigan was helping out. He walked all around the church greeting people,
shaking hands etc. He retired from Holy Rosary and is happy to be out doing what he does best.
No more paperwork etc. just being Father good fellow.
His homily was inspirational and as always had entertainment value.
I hope I can follow his example and serve the Lord in a different way. I will be part of the most important choir, the assembly.
I am grateful for the opportunity to sing with St. James Choir. It is  an experience I will always treasure.
I will miss the choristers even those I do not know. Each person added color to the musical quilt.
If possible I may join St. James for the Requiem.
Thanks to all the choristers for their kindness.
With Love and Prayers,
Martha #30 Alto

The Kindness of a Friend

Best light was on the deck.    Thanks Joanne!

                                             Also on the deck.
Somewhere in the distance, the Olympics.   I'll try again another day.

                 Picnic anyone?

                     Angel food cake? or birdbath?

                           Little cabin in the woods.

Where have all the weeds gone?
