Birthday Party Surprises

Our neighbor invited us to the birthday party of his two sons. They are not twins but born in same month a few days apart so celebrate together. Each had a cake and knew how to enjoy themselves.
We had no idea that it was going to be a party with catered food, many, many relatives and friends.
All were very nice to the two old folk.
We allowed our neighbor to park his boat on our property and he told the world.
A room full of adorable young women, ( Men were cute as well.)

The new development has begun next to our property. The Hill home is a pile of rubble.

Why didn't I think of this?

Figs ( What, more figs?)

                           Liz. your figs are in the freezer. I picked a few more, ate a few more, and that's it for this year.   Hope this is enough for your project. Almost 50, some little, some giant.

Figs and more figs.

This year is by far the best year for figs. I wish I had kept a count. I know for sure there were at least 100, probably closer to 200.

As I have mentioned before, I received this for singing for funeral of family friend. I refused payment so they gave me a start of a fig tree.
