Since I am not fond of working in the hot sun, I decided to disregard the weeds and pretend that I am a photographer.

Peter Rabbit Goes a Visiting.
I remember reading a book with this title, now it is being played out in our yard.
Thanks to our son, Joe the genius, for finding this photo. It was lost in my files.
He also restored the sound to my computer. The problem was probably caused by my random
search for something...push a button.....any button!

A Successful Test Run
We just got back from Silver Springs campground..our test run for our motor home. Everything seems to be working except the furnace. It was rather "iffy" Temperature was in the 40's one night so it got a little cold.
The scenery was especially beautiful. Late for trillium but vanilla leaf carpeted much of the area.
We see more wild life on our own property so nothing to report in that category.
I did see chipmunk, ground squirrel, and a brown creeper..no deer, elk. they do stay at Silver springs when snow is high but now they have headed back up the mountain.
It always amazes me how a few miles can make such a difference in scenery. Just a few miles away from our camp ground the snow banks began to appear, higher & higher then as we continued east it was completely different.
Our first day in our motor home always includes bumping into things including each other, until we get used to the limited space.
