Cape Disappointment


Our visit to the cape was beautiful. Many bird sightings..good beach walks , great views of lighthouses,
McKenzie Head and McKenzie lagoon.

Had a peaceful, wonderful birthday with my best friend, Joe.

    Both of these are postcard-class plus! Thank you for having me look before I left. I am so excited to get there. I also liked pelicans, lagoon, and cormorants. Not so much the seal. I'll be at Cape D today through Thurs. WTA is building a 25' rock & gravel turnpike (raised trail through boggy bit). I was told we 10 volunteers will have "wheelbarrows, shovels, buckets, rock nets, and your backs". I can't wait!!! James plans to come Wednesday (chain gang overseers now allow conjugal visits).

    I hope my time there is as nice as yours. I am so glad you had a nice bday with your sweetheart - you both deserve everything good!!!!! Love, Meagan
