Elizabeth had successful reconstructive surgery this morning. Our family is grateful for the good news.
Elizabeth is such an outstanding person. I know all mothers think that of their children but I'm totally impressed by the way she has handled her illness. Her blog is informative, witty, touching and an inspiration to others. Her husband John has been fantastic. In her own unique way, our Grand-daughter, Zoey has been
a help to her mom.
Liz's brothers and their families have been a blessing along with her many friends.
Love you all.
Martha
This will be my last post for a while. Time to do our taxes!
Lix is indeed pretty outstanding in so many ways! But all your babies are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteA prayer of thanks for a successful surgery!
Thanks so much. Liz wants to go home tonight. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteShe says it is easier to rest at home. Really?
We are so thankful that Elizabeth is through her latest surgery, minus cancer and plus an even healthier and (if possible) more gorgeous her than before!!!

It's much easier to rest at home! The nurses make rounds every hour during the day and every two hours at night. That means, taking my blood pressure, temperature, emptying the surgical drains, checking the incision sites, etc. Necessary, but not restful.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thanks, Meagan!
You looked lovely yesterday.
