The high point of Holy Thursday for me was the washing of the feet. Archbishop Sartain washed the feet of June Whitson. It was an inspiration to see his goodness and humility as he held her foot. It gave true meaning to the hymn being sung by Schola " I've never felt such Love".
June is recovering from a stroke and has lost most of the use of the right side of her body. June is unable to move her right foot. Roger &Sharon were there to help. Truly a loving family.
Fr. Ryan gave a memorable homily as well.
Back on earth......traffic was horrible!
Traffic was no trouble for me! And the service was indeed wonderful. Holy Thursday has been my favorite since little kid-hood.
