Mr. Fixit does it again!

Joe is a happy camper. I don't know how he does it.  I helped for about five minutes, on my knees, holding the flashlight so he could see what he was doing.   It was misery. Thanks to Joe we  will be able to explore the great Pacific Northwest. We love exploring and the motorhome makes it easy. We have all our food, clothes etc. packed and a place to sleep. Not a luxury hotel but good enough for me.

Productive Indoor Day

If I keep baking I'll have an excuse for avoiding yard work. Unable to find the insect deterrent I stalled by cooking until I was too pooped to venture into the wild. The bugs really love me
I worked outside for a few minutes ,received several bites then quit.
                                         Carrot/ Jicama slaw.... delicious surprise.
Banana/Flax      A little coarse but delicious.
Butterfly I spotted from the window. Windy, so blurry, but look at the colors .
.                                         Lemon slice cookies. Raw dough ready for freezer. Gluten-Free

Birds in the Trees (almost)

A gift from Joe and Deb.   I love them! Triplets. See how they bond.

Beautiful Bouquet from Liz and Zoey

Thanks so much.

A Lovely Day

It is nice to be remembered. Two visits, three phone calls and one text. 100%  Wow!
I feel special, oh so special.

James was first to phone. We had a nice conversation, ( me chattering away while he listened).
Steve stopped by and we were able to see his new bike. Really nice.
We enjoyed a lovely visit with Liz and Zoey.
Just as they were leaving our neighbors stopped by for a short visit. The children love going down the trail to the tree house. We were sitting on the deck when we heard screaming. Unfortunately. the adorable little girl brushed against some nettles and was not happy.
Even a cookie didn't help!
Except for that, it was a wonderful family day.
