2019 note. I had some plumbing work done last month. It reminded me of all the money Joe saved us by doing all the maintenance for many years.

This has been an interesting week for my love of nature.
A Swainsons Hawk was sitting on the railing of the deck.
During the night a coyote chorale both excited and frightened me.
It was so loud I thought it might be on the deck. It was at least 3, maybe 4.
A few nights ago I heard a bird singing a five note song.
I listened to the song during the night.trying to identify the bird.
By morning I was a little suspicious that a bird would repeat the song
at equal intervals all night.
It was the smoke alarm in the kitchen!!!!!!!
