Our place is a combination.
The woods are still pretty, as is the back yard.
A downed alder branch was food for the deer.
The field resembles an ice skating rink.
The rest is ugly. Branches strewn everywhere. Dirt covering snow from being shoveled and power lines down!
Steve brought wood from a tree in his yard.( Just missed the hot tub).
A gift of wood from Steve is a beautiful thing!
I was having similar thoughts this morning. But I didn't get any wood. I wish I had something to burn it in. A fireplace would be so cozy.
