We made it. What a great experience.
One of the added pleasures was listening to people from other states telling us how lucky we were to live in such a beautiful area. Many decided to vacation in Washington. to get away from the heat. I don't think they expected such beauty.
I heard a woman comment when she saw all the wild flowers. " Someone must have planted these."
I assured her that all the plants were wild. " Even the roses?"
