Since I am allergic to the sting of a bee, I try to keep my distance. While we were taking a photo of an osprey feeding her baby, a very nice woman from Astoria pointed out this large nest.
Eeeek! I am not allergic to bee stings, (thank the Lord!) but I sure don't like them very much! I'm glad you avoided the little demons - sweet in their place, but their place isn't on us!
