That's really beautiful! Did you have to actually drive, or only read the eye chart? I hate renewing my driver's license. It's like a wasted day, sitting there for hours.
I should've said I was able to renew my license. Just eye test and a few questions. It is a long wait but I usually people watch. One girl had an interesting name, Robin Hood.
The people watching opportunities at the DMV are indeed a slight consolation.
I'm thankful about my name too. My mother wanted to name me Reagan (after her favorite movie star) or Michael, which would have been ok. But the priest Msgr. Ryan, objected to those names. My father said, "I was thinking of Joanna." "Joanna it is," said Msgr, and whipped me off to the font.
