Joe was stationed US Coast guard Bering Straits. One of his duties was being in charge of the laundry. Some guy hid liquor in one of the washing machines and Joe was blamed. He was so upset that he got a mutual with a fellow who was stationed in Seattle. He met my brother and the story begins
P.S. We were not married until he was out of the service. He was stationed on Puget Sound. They saved a house boat from sinking and the owner wanted to give them a party. My brother asked me to be Joes' date. The only reason he wanted Joe there was his car. Corky needed a ride. Sorry if I'm repeating myself.
